Gästehaus Rettenbacher

Our guesthouse Rettenbacher is a house of cosiness and comfort in Tyrolean style, it is located in Fulpmes, on the sunny side of the Stubai Valley, in a beautiful and central location, near the Schlick 2000 ski area.

The Schlick 2000 ski bus stop is approx. 70 meters away, the Stubai Glacier ski bus stop is approx. 200 meters away. Sepp Rettenbacher is the head of the ski and mountaineering school in Stubai Tirol.

STUBAI SUPER CARD period: 18.5. - 28.10.2023
The STUBAI SUPER CARD is included in the price, you will receive it upon arrival at our house. Bus and train travel to the Stubaital from Innsbruck is also included in the STUBAI SUPER CARD free of charge. It can be used every day from the day of arrival to the day of departure.

4.) All 4 lifts in the Stubaital - Stubai Glacier (except ski passes), Schlick 2000, Elferlift and Serlesbahn, 1 ascent and descent per day

5.) Serlesbahn summer toboggan run in Mieders: 1 free ride per week

6.) Fulpmes indoor and outdoor swimming pool, free entry for 3 hours once a week

7.) Mieders swimming pool: unrestricted free entry


The Rettenbacher guest house in Fulpmes in the Stubaital is particularly interesting for guests with a soft spot for professional mountaineering supervision. Sepp Rettenbacher has been running the Stubai Tirol ski and mountaineering school in the summer for more than 30 years and ran the Stubai Tirol ski school in Fulpmes in the winter for more than 30 years. With many interesting suggestions and great tips, the experienced and authorized mountain guide and state-certified ski and cross-country skiing instructor is always at your disposal when planning your tours.

Due to its wonderful location at the foot of the Serles in Fulpmes, the Rettenbacher guest house offers good opportunities for all your holiday activities. The valley station of the Schlick 2000 ski area can be reached in just a few minutes by bus. The ski bus there stops in front of the Rettenbacher guest house. The ski bus stop to the Stubai Glacier and the center of Fulpmes can be easily reached on foot in 2-3 minutes. The own mountain sports shop Tirol Alpin (at the church square in Fulpmes), which grants all house guests discounts, equips you for all sporting activities.

On request, we offer a pick-up and delivery service (for a fee) to and from Innsbruck at the Rettenbacher guest house. This enables a car-free journey to the Stubaital. The Stubai Super Card allows you to use local public transport free of charge in summer and offers free entry to all mountain railways in the Stubai Valley, including the summer toboggan run and numerous other attractions.

In the Rettenbacher guesthouse you will find a cozy single room and three double rooms, all with shower/toilet, balcony, satellite TV, room safe, etc.

All rooms are equipped with wooden furniture and offer a fantastic view of the Stubai Alps from the balcony.

Our spacious and bright holiday apartment is suitable for 3-6 people. 3 double rooms (possibly an extra bed), as well as 2 showers/toilet also offer plenty of space for families and groups to feel good. If required, a cot and high chair can be provided. With the cozy living room and the fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, you have every opportunity to spend pleasant hours in your holiday apartment with friends or family.

In the morning we offer a bread service for the holiday apartment and guests of our comfort rooms feast on our rich breakfast buffet with regional products and Tyrolean delicacies from the Stubaital.

In addition, there is the very healthy Grander water for all our guests throughout the house.

For our Rettenbacher guest house, we decided to install this high-quality Grander water, which now flows from every tap in our house for all our guests.

Our guest house has a small sauna with soothing aromatic oils, a shower with a flood shower and a quiet room to relax. We also have a pretty garden with a beautiful sunbathing lawn to relax in, as well as two cozy pergolas.

Parking spaces are available for each room and apartment.
