Our organically run Lothringerhof farm lies at the heart of the original village of Dorfgastein, amidst the mountain world of the Hohe Tauern national park. Shopping possibilities, restaurants and cafés can all be reached after a few steps only. The solar bath that can be freely used by our guests in summer, is only 10 minutes away on foot. The valley station of the Dorfgastein Großarl skiing area that in winter takes you to the pistes of the Ski Amadé network is equally close. Relaxation awaits you in the Alpentherme thermal spa Bad Hofgastein that can be reached within 10 minutes by car.

Whether active vacation in Gastein’s mountain world or relaxed holidays in quiet surroundings –
in our 15 comfortable rooms, as well as in our large apartment you will find the right accommodation for every type of vacation. The rooms that host 2-4 people fascinate with their traditional, high-quality amenities and all come with shower and WC, cable TV as well as with a balcony. You will thus find everything you need in your vacation here. For a family vacation we recommend our apartment for 4-10 people, consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms as well as a fully equipped apartment kitchen with sitting corner, cable TV and south balcony. Of course, you can rent an additional room on top.

After an active skiing or hiking day, you should treat yourself to a vitalising visit in our sauna. You can freshly and healthy start your holiday with our rich breakfast buffet that features our own farm products: Alpine cheese, home-made butter, and bread fresh from the oven will pamper your palate in the morning already.
Sheep, goats, hares, chicken and cows – visit our animals in the stable or on the alpine pasture and pet our smallest animals.

Winter in Gastein
Skiing in the Dorfgastein Großarl skiing area, free riding in Sportgastein or merry tobogganing –winter in the Gasteinertal offers great fun for younger and older guests alike.

Summer in Gastein
Visit our Schareckalm at 1,600m and stop for a savoury snack there. From here you can even set out to additional hikes, such as to the Schareck at 3,123m. Mountain bikers will come to love Dorfgastein and its surroundings.
