Our mountain hotel Berghotel Türlwand is right beside the bottom station of the Dachstein gondola-lift. Within only 7 minutes you are taken to a whole different world: a natural paradise far away from the everyday life with gorgeous views to Austria’s mountain tops. Here, amidst the magnificent Dachstein south face and the Schladming Tauern, you find all highlights the Dachstein winter has got to offer. Experience skitouring, high-altitude cross-country trails, hiking routes, as well as breathtaking views from the Skywalk and the suspension bridge, or “insights” into the glacier in the Dachstein Ice Palace.

In summer, you can start numerous hikes and climbing tours with your family or friends right at the hotel Berghotel Türlwand, according to the motto “Games, sports & fun during your family holiday in Ramsau am Dachstein”.
At the Berghotel Türlwand, there are traditional-style double, single, and family rooms with connecting door available. The rooms are partly newly refurbished and they are all furnished with bright, wooden furniture. All rooms have a private bathroom with WC, and Sat-TV. Some of our rooms have a balcony, from where you enjoy incredible views to the Dachstein mountains that will surely enchant you.
In the morning, we offer a rich buffet breakfast with regional produce. At noon and in the evening, culinary treats await you in our à-la-carte restaurant. Our Styrian delicacies as well as the international dishes are prepared with fresh regional products.
Our sun terrace with panoramic views to the Schladming Tauern is a well-liked meeting point for our guests - whether in the afternoon for a coffee or in the evening for a glass of wine - you are invited to unwind and enjoy at any time.
After a long hike, you are welcome to relax your tired muscles in our small sauna area with a Finnish sauna and an infrared cabin. It has been scientifically proven that recreation in the mountains at an altitude from 1200 metres above sea level is twice as effective than in regions below.
With the Schladming-Dachstein SummerCard, a great children’s programme is included. Furthermore, your kids have a lot of free space on the Alpine pastures around our house, where they can play to their hearts’ content.
The ski region Ramsau am Dachstein offers fun on Kali’s Adventure Ski Runs from December to March. The ski area amadé and the ski region Ramsau, cross-country trails in the valley and at high altitude, racy toboggan runs on the Rittisberg or down from the Alpine pastures, and romantic snowshoeing as well as winter-walking contribute to a diversified winter holiday in Ramsau am Dachstein.
